Intellectual Property Explorer was developed by Monkii for APEC in partnership with the IP Australia. It is a web-based application that allows small business owners to create an inventory of their intellectual property and develop reports about the health of their intellectual property via a series of diagnostic questions.

The tool is the first of its kind in Australia in that it offers users recommendations about protecting their own IP in real time.

By turning the complex issue of IP into a simple process, Monkii has created a web site which is offers significant value to all SMEs. As a result, IP Explorer has received mainstream media coverage in the Financial Review, The Australian and Dynamic Export Magazine.

Monkii are currently working on a Chinese version for distribution in Hong King and China.
