Little Big Shots International Film Festival for Kids

Little Big Shots is Australia’s premier kids film festival that features the best in local and international children's shorts, animations, documentaries and, amazingly, child-produced films.

Little Big Shots approached Monkii with the task of re-designing and re-developing their existing website using a Drupal content management system. Monkii designed a quirky, playful front-end interface to help convey the festival's number one goal: to keep kids entertained.

An important requirment was to allow Little Big Shots staff to easily list films for each festival in a simple and painless way. Accordingly, Monkii customised Drupal to complement Little Big Shot's processes including news listings, importing and exporting of film listings, image galleries via a Flickr API as well as email marketing for their thousands of film fanatics.

Launched in time for the 2010 season, the website will bring the festival national and international audiences for years to come.
