The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is the second largest comedy festival in the world with over 300 shows and an audience figure just above 490,000.
That translates to a lot of people seeking out information on a lot of different comedians, so Monkii was commissioned to develop a website that would run so smoothly the punters could easily find the funny.
As well as updating and improving the original site designs, Monkii created an easy-to-use back end so that Festival administrators could keep track of the shows and comedians could upload audio and video content onto their own pages. They could also see where incoming web traffic was coming from and refine their PR accordingly.
Monkii developed a CMS that was seamlessly integrated into the existing website. Thanks to our efforts and the hassle-free final result, we are now proudly into our eighth consecutive year as the sole web design and development partner for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
